Omnia Mater is a biotech holding company advancing research in tissue engineering, biomimicry and the future of human medicine.

OMNIA MATER oversees five research entities, each working on a different frontier. The corporate and communication design challenge: their products do not exist yet. Core of our design thinking proposal: building a visual system able to represent the nature of the pursuit itself: avant-garde tech, innovation, curiosity, working at the edge of what is known.

A family of marks: the mother's vector sign lives at the core of every child logo.

The OMNIA MATER distinctive mark is present within each child logo. A genetic inheritance expressed through geometry. Each child mark encapsulates the base form in a container that reflects its research domain.

The design system has been built to allow ideally infinite iterations, where the fundamental principles would be respected. Each future project logo will belong to the family but will have enough space to assume a distinct personality.

Images that do not exist in nature. Subjects assembled from the logic of science — never seen before, yet unmistakably coherent.

The goal was to produce a design artifact — one that carries the intrinsic nature of generative AI as a medium, while remaining impossible to execute without mature creative authorship. A deliberate act of direction. Fusion of biological, subatomic and architectural references into a single coherent image.

The ambition: work that remains relevant across decades, regardless of which generative model was used.

The technology alone produces exactly what is flooding every feed right now — spectacular, derivative, instantly dateable. What protects OMNIA MATER's images from obsolescence is the conceptual framework they were built on. Each one is a designed argument. Ideas that belong to research, to innovation, to the honest unknowns of science.

The primary website for OMNIA MATER employs a dark visual system that serves as the foundational layer of the brand architecture. This design establishes the institutional presence of the holding company with clarity, depth, and technical precision. The restrained dark palette and typographic hierarchy reflect the strategic and long-term nature of the organization while maintaining a calm, authoritative voice.

Differentiated Web Presence for Portfolio Companies

All subsidiary projects and research entities operate under bright, inverted versions of the same design language. While the core visual system remains clearly recognisable, the inversion of brightness creates an immediate and intuitive distinction between the mother company and its portfolio.

This approach communicates belonging without uniformity. Each child project benefits from a distinct presence that feels energetic and focused on innovation, while the shared underlying grammar ensures visual coherence and reinforces the hierarchical relationship within the Omnia Mater ecosystem.
